GPSC Welcomes New Member

Dec 8, 2014

The GPSC is delighted to welcome Dr Fiona Duncan as a Doctors of BC representative to the Committee. Dr Duncan has been very involved in the A GP For Me Working Group, and now co-chairs that working group.

Active as the Vice Chair of the Vancouver Division of Family Practice and Chair of its Continuity of Care Committee, Dr Duncan is also a family physician in Vancouver, a Clinical Assistant Professor in UBC’s Department of Family Practice, and a past preceptor with the St. Paul’s Hospital Family Practice Residency Program.

Graduating with a BA and an MD from UBC, Dr Duncan completed her Residency in McMaster’s Rural Family Medicine Program in Thunder Bay.

The GPSC is pleased to work with Dr Duncan to bring her skills and experience to the Committee, as it works to strengthen full-service family practice and comprehensive patient care in BC.
